About Me

Connie Buckmaster is a queer musician and nonfiction writer based in New Jersey.

Their writings have been published in places such as The New York Times, Io Literary Journal, and Glassworks Literary Magazine. They are currently writing NF essays about identity, love, and queerness. Connie formerly held a volunteer position for Hippocampus Magazine as a NF essay reader.

As a musician, their work spans across moods and genres. In 2020, they released their first EP: Nightmare in a Daydream - a mix of rap and bedroom pop ballads about love and heartbreak. Since then, their music has continued to grow and evolve. Their discography is available wherever you listen to music.

Connie is a former writing professor for Rowan University. They currently work as an assistant editor for MJH Life Sciences.
